Jeff & Cheryl Scruggs have an amazing testimony about how they were married, divorced for 7 years, and then reconciled to each other again in marriage.  They counsel other couples through marital issues and will be publishing a book next year. I’m just going to put it out there.  I’ll do it gently, though…  Jason & I are trying to expand our family.  Yes, mom, we are working on it.  :)  You know, this time in life is like a crazy rollercoaster.  Every month I wait for a small white stick to reveal to me whether or not my life is about to change forever.  Will it be a positive?  Or a negative?  And the moment reveals it is a negative.  ”Okay,” I think, “that’s just another couple of weeks I get to drink caffeinated coffee and wine.”  I just sense that I am so ready for this, but at the same time I know I won’t ever actually be ready.  But I continually hand this over to God, as deep down I truly believe that His timing is right.  Although, it’s not incredibly helpful knowing that SEVEN of my friends are pregnant.  YES, SEVEN.  Just got yet another call this morning.  So needless to say… you’re welcome to pray for us.
