I just finished Blue Like Jazz and I told my husband I think it is the best book I have ever read. I can’t explain it and I know you understand because you have read it, but it is amazing. I just ordered another one…Searching for God Knows What but I will have to try the Desert one next. I was in a spiritual funk, praying for something to help get me out of it and in a very strange way was introduced to Blue Like Jazz. Now I want to buy a copy of it for everyone I know! Oh, BTW…Richard and I have been trying for a BFP (big fat positive in fertility shorthand) for over a year now. We have our first Dr.’s appointment in Lubbock for the fertility specialist in a week. We’re looking forward to it! Good luck and remember…have fun trying!
