It reminded me of our local Baskin Robbins 19 1/2 years ago. They had a chalkboard by the door with a darling chalk drawing of a pregnant lady on it and a note that said Tuesdays: Pregnancy special 2 for the price of 1. Well, all of my pregnant friends had been taking advantage of this for months and I finally decided I would too. So I went in and much to my surprise the chalkboard was erased clean. I proceeded to get up the nerve to ask for the pregnancy special and the young man behind the counter said, “Uh, we just discontinued that.” Well, being the 9 month pregnant emotionally charged woman I was, I started crying. Talk about embarrassing! Anyway, he says, “Okay, you can have it!” The next time I came in the sign was back up. Moral of this story…Never mess with a pregnant woman when it comes to her icecream!
